Student Health Center Addition & MRI Suite

This project consists of a two-story addition the Student Health Center. The addition aligns with the existing gabled end of the Student Health Center to provide a seamless transition throughout building as well as allocating space for vertical circulation needs.

The first floor contains a research MRI suite with one operational MRI and the ability and support services to add one additional machine. Training for these complex instruments is provided for students and staff in an adjoining training room. Along with the MRI and support space for the research, additional consultation and behavioral testing rooms support the research on the first floor.

The second floor clinical space serves university employees as well as a woman’s health clinic for the university. Both units feature a private waiting room, eight exam rooms and a procedure room each. A small laboratory/work room serves to both clinical spaces with administrative offices close by.
