The Student Center at Presidential Village is an exciting new complex located in the north campus of The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa that will feature several major student amenities. A recreation center with a two-story climbing wall, three basketball courts, and a variety of workout spaces will occupy most of the main and upper floors. The UA Housing and Residential Communities and Parent Program offices will be accompanied on the main floor by an inviting Food Service venue, a Convenience Store, and a large covered Patio. In addition, the entire facility will sit atop a storm shelter that will serve to protect the entire population of Presidential Village during a weather event. Situated between the two new Presidential Village residence halls by a wide entry concourse and a generous common area, the Student Center will provide a striking and friendly image for the whole area. The location of the complex, overlooking the north bluffs, will not only be an impressive part of the view from the Warrior River with a classical curving façade, but it will offer expansive views from most of the building’s amenities.
