The design of the new 55,000 SF headquarters for Lake Homes Realty and sister company, RealSource Title Insurance and Real Estate Closings brings a much-needed revival to a tired 1980s corporate office space. The leadership of both companies desired to create a contemporary space that subtly reflects the essence of their business while showcasing their media rich culture. A strategic combination of unfinished exposed structure, new buildout, and unobstructed views to the exterior windows create a dynamic first impression that is welcoming and relaxing.

Reflecting Water

The design incorporates organic, soft curves that mirror the fluidity of water, evident in the lines of glass conference rooms and throughout the environment. This subtly pays homage to their business selling lake homes. Curved elements are thoughtfully integrated throughout the entire building, extending into the ceiling features, symbolizing the ripples seen on lake surfaces. The exposed concrete pillars and ceilings of the original building were intentionally left uncovered, evoking a rustic lakeside ambiance. This transformation shifted their former space from a predominantly covered and painted environment to a more casual and modern setting, aligning better with the company's culture.

Connecting with Nature

Creating a strong visual connection to the outdoors aptly reflects the company's focus on lakefront properties. The design capitalizes on breathtaking mountain views with extensive window walls to give transparency throughout the space. Whether in the reception area, along the perimeter, or within the conference rooms, every corner boasts a connection to the natural surroundings. Glass partitions in meeting spaces and private offices, seamlessly integrate the outdoors allowing natural light to fill the space.
