Last week, our team joined the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama to celebrate the grand opening of its new facility in Bessemer!

Designed to support the Food Bank’s growing mission, the new facility provides expanded warehouse, cold storage, and volunteer space while creating a more efficient flow for receiving, organizing, and distributing food. The added capacity will help the organization better serve its network of community partners and the thousands of neighbors who rely on them.

For WBA, the project was about more than creating a larger building. It was about designing a facility around the people, processes, and purpose that keep the Food Bank moving every day and providing room for that impact to grow.

We’re grateful to have partnered with the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama on this next chapter and proud to see the new facility officially open its doors.
